Mycelia of Cordyceps sinensis. [Strain Code Name(Cs-4).]Cordyceps sinensis is called "winter worm, summer grass" and "caterpillar mushroom" in China.

Cordyceps sinensis(Berk) Sacc parasitized in hepialus armoricamus oberthur, created mycelia in the body of larva, then fruit bodies grew out. Together with the dry body is called cordyceps sinensis.

Mycelia of cordycep sinensis is deep fermentation product of the mycelia of paecilomyces hepiali chen, Cs-4 strain isolated from cordyceps sinensis(Berk).Sacc.It contains amino acid, polysaccharide, ademosine, mannitol, fatty acid, trace elements and many other effective principles, similar with natural cordyceps sinensis. Thus, the actions and indications are all similar with the natural one, but somewhat less in toxicity.

Appearance: Brown powder, fragrant in smell and bitter in taste.
